Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Gardens is one of the Edo early daimyo garden to remain in Tokyo. Sato-sakura(cherry-blossom) Sato-sakura is a cherry tree that has been breeding Sato-sakura of Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Gardens will bloom later than normal cherry. I recommend for late cherry-blossom(Sato-sakura) viewing. This Satosakura was cozy. It is close to the "rose" rather than a "Sakura" Pine also beautiful You can see the station of the monorail,Tokyo Tower over the pine. "Edo" and "Showa" co-exist. There is a Weeping cherry tree in Rikugien. When I visited Rikugien , The cherry tree was in half bloom. Everybody takes pictures with a smile. Not only Cherry Blossom, also Japanese garden is attractive. There are some stepping stones in the pond. There was also a weeping pine. It is surrounded by the building, but only here is as if the time stops. A beautiful sky reflected in the pond. You can go mt.Mitake(known as autumn leaves) in two and a half hours less than from Shinjuku. You can climb in a cable car about 400m. There are some shrines on Mt.Mitake. “Ubuyasusha (shrine)” is believed in for having an easy and safe delivery of child, raising children, and a good marriage. This is "Couple cedar".
